Tenants are reminded of the requirement to keep goods, pallets and other materials at least 1.2 metres back from the edge of a roadway in line with the requirements of the Brisbane Markets Regulations and Traffic Management Plan.
The setback provides forklift operators with room to move off the roadway to collect goods, check paperwork or complete loading activities.
The setback improves visibility and keeps goods and equipment away from road edges, providing clearer sightlines for pedestrians, forklift operators and drivers.
All tenants are reminded of the importance of adhering to the requirements of the Regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
