A new Mango Monarch has been crowned at the 2025 Brisbane Markets’ Mango Auction!
In a highly spirited bidding competition, it was Chris Frame from The Standard Market Company (pictured below) who took the Royal title with an incredible $66,000 bid.
The Standard Market Company is A better choice! Retailer and has three stores at Newstead, Fortitude Valley and Southport.

Proceeds from the 2025 Brisbane Markets Mango Auction go to two very deserving charities, Redkite and The Lady Musgrave Trust.
Redkite provides practical, financial and mental health support to families with a child facing cancer, and The Lady Musgrave Trust helps young women experiencing or at risk of homelessness transition to a life of opportunity and stability.
“The Mango Auction has become an iconic annual tradition and is the highlight of the Brisbane Markets’ calendar”, said Brisbane Markets Limited Deputy Chair, Peter Tighe.
“It is a great opportunity for our industry to gather together and give back to Queensland families in need.”
As well as the star of the show – the first symbolic tray of mangoes – other auction and raffle items raised important funds for the two nominated charities.
“We are delighted with the result from this year’s event, which raised more than $81,000 to support the vital work of Redkite and The Lady Musgrave Trust,” said Mr Tighe.
“We are also pleased to report that the outlook for this year’s mango season is strong, with a very good quality, high yield of fruit expected.
