Public holiday trading at the Brisbane Markets

Brisbane Markets Limited (BML) observes gazetted public holidays and will be closed for trading on the following days:

  • Friday, 3 April (Good Friday)
  • Saturday, 4 April (Easter Saturday)
  • Sunday, 5 April (Easter Sunday)
  • Monday, 6 April (Easter Monday)
  • Saturday, 25 April (Anzac Day)
  • Monday, 4 May (Labour Day, Queensland).

Tenants will have site access 24/7, including on the public holidays, via the Main and Western Entry points. The Curzon Street entry is closed due to refurbishment works.

Buyer access

Buyer access on the above public holidays is strictly limited to those who have made prior arrangements with the Wholesaler(s), and the Wholesaler(s) have notified BML’s Operations Department.

Any Buyer attending site on the above dates without prior arrangement and approval will be denied entry.

Buyers that have previously registered for weekend access will have the usual weekend access terms and conditions apply.

Brisbane Flower Market trading hours

The Brisbane Flower Market will be open for trading on Saturday, 4 April (Easter Saturday), and closed on all other public holidays listed above.

Saturday Fresh Market trading hours

Saturday Fresh Market will be open on Saturday, 4 April (Easter Saturday), and closed on Saturday, 25 April (Anzac Day). The Market will be open on all other Saturdays as normal.

Meeting Rooms

Cost: From $100 per half day

Meeting Room 1 is a boardroom-style meeting room with seating for up to 10 people. Audio visual equipment including teleconferencing, projector, whiteboard, tea/coffee and on-site catering available.

Meeting Room 2 and 3 are compact rooms with seating for up to four people. Whiteboard and on-site catering available.

A large, 75 m2 corporate boardroom is also available, with seating for up to 20 people. Audio visual equipment including teleconferencing, projector, whiteboard and room audio. Tea/coffee and on-site catering available.

Training Rooms

Cost: From $200 per half day

Training Room 1: This 49 m2 training room has the capacity to seat up to 16 people. 

Audio visual including two 65-inch LCD screens, data, whiteboard and on-site catering available. Tables and chairs included in hire. 

Can be used in conjunction with Training Room 2 and/or the kitchen.

Training Room 2: This 89 m2 training room can seat up to 60 people or around 150 people standing.

Audio visual including up to two mounted 65-inch LCD screens, projector, whiteboard and on-site catering available. Tables and chairs included in hire.

Can be used in conjunction with Training Room 1 and/or the kitchen.
