From the convenient parking, atmospheric fairy lights, to the abundance of super fresh produce: market-goers are wowed by the Saturday Fresh Market’s new, completely undercover venue.
Zena and Alanjohn, who have just made the move from Melbourne to Yeronga, said that they were impressed with their first visit to the Saturday Fresh Market.
“The offering you have here is more than we’ve seen in Melbourne and there’s just so much room! It’s very clean and we just love the fairy lights,” they said.
“We love the live music, the different sections, the diversity of products and, most of all, we love the price! We will definitely be coming back regularly.”
Terri and Sandra meet up every weekend and the Saturday Fresh Market is one of their favourite locations for their weekly catch-up.
“We love the fresh food, the smell, the music: it’s such a great atmosphere. Moving into the new location is the best. We go walking every Saturday and the market is a great place to walk when it’s raining, plus you get to spend money at the same time!”
Peter and Ingrid from Murrumba Downs are regulars at the Saturday Fresh Market and visited for the first time since the big move.
“We are loving the new venue. It is really good that it is undercover and there’s plenty of parking. We are so glad to see everyone and support all the vendors. We love the fresh fruit and vegetables!” they said.
Jasmine and Steven from Pallara also hadn’t visited for a while and were pleasantly surprised with their first visit to the new venue.
“We much prefer the new location, it’s a lot nicer. We love coming to get our fresh fruit and vegetables then grabbing a coffee to finish the morning off,” they said.
Louise from Annerley and Jack from Hemmant met up for a morning outing and were pleased to see the new location in all its glory.
“There’s lots more plants and we’re very excited to get breakfast. The parking was super convenient as well and with the whole venue undercover, it’s hard to go wrong!” they said.
A visit to the Saturday Fresh Market is the perfect day out for the family: have some breakfast, enjoy the entertainment and grab the weekly groceries at the same time.
It’s all about the routine for Emma and Dave, who make the trip from Darra every weekend.
“We love coming and having breakfast together as a family and then doing our weekly grocery shop while we are here. The new venue is great and you don’t notice the weather at all. The Saturday Fresh Market keeps the kids happy!” they said.
Matt and his family from Toowong agree.
“The Saturday Fresh Market is a great family outing. The kids love the donuts and the popcorn, and we love the fresh produce. We really like and prefer the new venue, the parking is really good.”
