The 2022 Brisbane Produce Market Mango Auction will be held on Thursday, 29 September in the Central Trading Area to celebrate the start of the mango season.
After the event was forced to move online in 2021 to keep it COVID-safe, Brisbane Markets Limited (BML) and Brismark are pleased to once again be hosting the event in person to raise money for two important charities, The Lady Musgrave Trust and Redkite.

“The Mango Auction is all about our industry giving back to the community and I am proud that the event will support these worthwhile causes,” said BML Chair, Anthony Kelly.
“Thursday, 22 September is everyone’s opportunity to dig deep and bid to show your support for families who are doing it a lot tougher than most of us,” he said.
Raising money for families in need is a sentiment echoed by two-time Mango Monarch, Domenico Casagrande of Carindale and Chandler Megafresh.
“I’m a family man and we have a family business, so it’s important for us to support charities like Redkite and The Lady Musgrave Trust as they support other local families,” said Mr Casagrande.
Take part in the event by purchasing raffle tickets, giving a gold coin donation for the sausage sizzle or bid on some great auction items generously donated for the cause. If you are feeling very generous, you can always bid for the coveted symbolic first tray of mangoes for the season.
Entertainment starts from 6.30am with the main auction to follow. We hope you will join us as we go in search of our next Mango King or Queen. Close
