The popular Saturday Fresh Market spice stall, Health Bazaar, has been a real family affair for 15 years. Started by Jawad Jahjah (affectionately named Jah Jah by all that know him), the stall is now run by his children.

With a humongous selection of herbs, spices and blends, alongside delicious honey and a selection of leaf tea, the Jajah family relishes in the opportunity to connect with customers at the Saturday Fresh Market, according to daughter, Esmerell.
“We started off small with mixing and selling spices only, then over the years we’ve expanded our product offerings to include teas and honey as well,” she said.
“We source quality ingredients for our spices from all around the world, which we then mix on site to make unique spice mixes that our customers keep coming back to stock up on.”

Not only do they create dreamy spice blends, but the team from Health Bazaar also have the research to back up their offerings!
“On our team we have a chef with 30 years of experience, as well as a nutrition and dietetics student who researches tea varieties and natural remedies to maximise the health benefits of the products we make and sell,” Esmerell said.
“With our collective experience and expertise, we have authority in our field – we’re the leaders in spice theory!”
“It goes with the territory for us, but we’re really passionate about cooking. We love to create our own recipes and experiment with all kinds of different spices and flavours.”
