Brisbane Markets Limited (BML) has announced work is set to commence on another warehouse extension project to support Tenant business needs.
BML has entered into an agreement with Building N Tenant, Alfred E Chave Pty Ltd (A.E. Chave) to construct a 577 m² extension to the southern elevation of this warehouse.
The PIR insulated panel extension will provide additional storage and packing areas for A.E. Chave, together with an awning to the entrance to the existing dry storage area.
“This is yet another construction project which will improve infrastructure at the Brisbane Markets and another example of BML investing in the site to support Tenant’s growing business needs,” said BML Chair, Anthony Kelly.
BML has engaged SBP Australia Pty Ltd (SBP) to construct the Building N extension with site establishment, including the erection of temporary fencing around the construction zone (as shown in the map below), commencing from Monday, 12 September 2022.

Vehicles delivering building materials to the construction and set down zones have been instructed to enter via Curzon Street after 10am.
While construction works will be managed to minimise disruption to Markets operations, all vehicle operators and pedestrians are advised to take due care when driving or walking past the construction zone. Close
