As previously advised, Brisbane Markets Limited (BML) recently launched the Brisbane Markets Flood Watch which is available exclusively to registered users of the BML Portal app.
The Brisbane Markets Flood Watch uses images transmitted from the flood monitoring cameras installed to the north, south and west which are updated every 30-60 minutes on a 24/7 basis. The depths indicated are measured in metres Australian Height Datum (AHD), which relates directly to published flood levels for the site.
BML recommends checking the date and time stamp on the images provided to ensure its timeliness. Images may be more or less frequent depending upon telecommunication outages which may occur from time to time.
The BML Portal app is available for smartphones and can be downloaded from the Apple App Store and Google Play by following the links or searching for “BML Portal”.
