While inclement weather has delayed some aspects of construction, Building H1 is progressing well and is scheduled for practical completion early in 2023.
The $23.2 million, 5,987 m2 warehouse is being constructed at South Gate West, in close consultation with Tenant Green Endeavour, the parent entity of existing Brisbane Markets Tenants, Fruitlink and Suncoast Fresh.
The block work and footings for the warehouse’s loading and finger docks are complete as are bulk earthworks. The main stormwater system is currently being installed and piling works are near completion. The fabrication and installation of the concrete tilt slab panels continues.

Next steps include the installation of the building footings to progress the erection of the steel work along with the installation of underground services in preparation for the installation of the front concrete hard stand.
Once complete, the warehouse will feature five small commercial vehicle docks, five docks with dock levellers for large commercial vehicles and a finger dock along with an administration hub accommodated in offices across two levels and a roof top garden.
The warehouse and dispatch facility will include seven cold rooms with varying temperatures, a freezer room, approximately 381 pallet spaces, and two heavy produce rooms.
