Making growers welcome at Brisbane Markets

For many growers, visiting the Brisbane Markets is a real eye-opener. The sights, the sounds, the smells all combine to create an experience like no other.

Members of the Queensland Fruit and Vegetables Growers tour the Brisbane Markets facilities.

Not only is a visit to the Markets informative, it is also vitally important for growers as it provides a better understanding of how the Markets operate and the level of investment that goes into marketing their fresh produce.

BML always encourages growers to take the opportunity to visit Brisbane Markets and their wholesalers, in a way that keeps visitors safe and our site secure.

Visiting Brisbane Markets when their produce is in season also has the added benefit of being able to compare with their competitors produce and also see the array of packaging available.

BML recommends a ratio of one inducted staff member per five guests. If you have large groups of visitors, BML is always happy to assist.

All site visitors must wear high vis vests and enclosed footwear, be supervised at all times.

If you are having visitors on site, be they growers or other guests, you must register them with BML by using the visitor registration form here or via the Site Service Centre Online.
